Reviewing New Age Capitalism vs. Black Capitalism

Black Capitalism

At its origin, Black Capitalism is no less or more than other Black welfare programs based on subsidies given by the government and/or minority set-asides for business enterprises owned by the Black. In the true sense, Black Capitalism is a pipe dream and a myth because it lacks any genuine infrastructure to sustain or support it.

The myth Of Black Capitalism can be further understood when one considers how no major capital assets are owned by Black America such as industries, banks, research and development corporations or companies, competitive production or distribution facilities, plants or factories, competitive technology corporations or companies, or even companies involved in discovering new raw material sources for industrial development, etc. Additionally, based on the conventional definition of capitalism, Black people in America don’t and will not own the means of production and distribution capacity that are essential to create billions in revenue without New Age Corporations. This makes it important to shift the focus from the concept of Black Capitalism, which isn’t real and is just a myth, to New Age Capitalism, New Age Corporations, and New Age Thinking as put forward by Otis C. Harrison and George M. Sistrunk.

What makes New Age Capitalism so effective?

Unlike Black Capitalism, the concept of New Age Capitalism based on “many paying a little to fund a corporate enterprise” isn’t a myth. Rather, it’s the solitary means by which poverty prevalent in the Black community can be significantly reduced or eradicated. That’s because New Age Capitalism, its mandated New Age Corporations, and its by-product New Age Thinking are based on laws that build and govern corporate enterprises, thus making entire communities capable of sitting at the economic table and taking part in the wealth creation process.
